Murphy Library Special Collections and Area Research Center has its own dedicated space within the Murphy Library building. Its entrance is in the library's atrium on the main floor of the building.

Research Services
The entire collection is non-circulating and must be used in the department's reading room. Visitors must register and provide positive identification before proceeding into the reading room.
Special Collections is primarily interested in, and used for, aspects of local and regional history.
