The Catalog is the inventory of all holdings in the collections of Murphy Library.
Every item in our collection was selected by a member of the UWL community, usually librarians or other faculty members, for use by members of the UWL community.
Murphy Library includes:
Books, videos, maps, government documents, periodical (journal, magazine, newspaper) subscriptions, archival collections, and more!
Both physical and online holdings
Both purchased and leased access online holdings
Online items can be accessed right from the catalog.
Physical items are shelved in Murphy Library using call numbers, usually the Library of Congress Classification System.
There are several search "profiles" in this system. The "UW-La Crosse Books & Media" scope is the one that is the Murphy Library Catalog!
