Which one to choose?

There are a few citation managers available online, and they are all slightly different from each other.

It's important to compare and choose according to your research needs and the strengths of the citation managers.

If you need to... EndNote Zotero
...work from multiples computers or locations: Fully cloud-based and can be used anywhere there is an internet connection Saves your citation library to your local computer, but syncs with multiple computers so you can work from home, work, or school.
...work offline EndNote only works online because it is cloud-based. Since Zotero saves to your local computer, you can sync later.
...archive web pages and import citations from sites such as Amazon, Flickr, and ArtSTOR. EndNote does not have this capability. Saves snapshots of web pages and some commercial and social networking sites, then annotates them within your citation library. 
...work on a group project or share  citations with others. Share with up to 1000 users. Share your citations through shared folders -- you can give individuals or groups permissions to add and edit the citations in the shared folder.
