McNair Scholars at UW-La Crosse: Library Perks

Individual Appointments

All students may use the library's Individual Consultations service. McNair Scholars are encouraged to use this service. Feel free to specify an individual librarian, if you know of somebody you wish to work with. Otherwise, a librarian with relevant experience/interest will be identified to work with you.

Schedule an appointment up using the Individual Consultation Form.

Individual Study Carrels

McNair Scholars are allowed to request graduate study carrels, located in the lower level of Murphy Library. The library assigns carrels on a semester-by-semester basis. Priority is given to graduate students and McNair Scholars during the first weeks of the semester. After that, all UWL students may apply equally for remaining carrels.

Request a carrel using the carrel application form. Click here for more info.
