For the works in this project by contemporary artists, frequently little information is available through traditional library sources. Instead, the artists' websites and the Minnesota Marine Art Museum's site may provide useful information about the form and process, content and context of the artworks. Researchers could view the artists' sites and statements as primary sources for researching these pieces. Or even contact the artist directly for more information about their work.
