How can librarians supplement your teaching?

  • Information Literacy instruction
    • Invite a librarian into your classroom! Working with your classroom assignment in mind, librarians will work with students on how to find, use, and evaluate information in the research process. Requesting a session is quick and easy.
  • Tutorials
  • Library guides on various topics:
    • Subject Guides - how to find and use discipline-specific resources like research databases, reference materials, and reliable websites.
    • Course Guides -  work with a librarian to tailor a guide to your specific course or assignment.
    • Research Tools & Strategies - guides that help with citations, source evaluation, research tips, and more!
  • Reference Services
    • Encourage students to reach out to a librarian for research help! We offer chat, walk-up services, email, and consultation appointments.
