Electronic Books Guide: Getting Started

1. From the Murphy Library homepage or Search@UW, use the dropdown menu next to the search box to change your search to UWL Books & Media.
2. Once you have run a search, you can use the filters on the left to limit the results to Online Resources and Books.

Murphy Library provides access to a number of large, multidisciplinary ebook collections such as:

• ProQuest Ebook Central
• eBook Collection on EBSCOhost
• Elsevier ebooks (ScienceDirect)
• SpringerLink
• Wiley

Murphy Library also collects ebooks in smaller, specialized collections such as:

• Early English Books Online
• Duke Gender Studies Collection
• Gale Ebooks
• History Reference Center
• Medicine E-Book Collection
• Sage Knowledge Reference Collection​
